West Sussex Golf Club is happy to entertain golfing groups and societies throughout the year. Normally, our society days are Wednesday and Thursday but there are always some variations from this and a few weekend days are also available.

The VISITOR DIARY on our web site always presents the up to date picture of days that are open and available to Societies.

As an immediate aid to prospective new societies who may wish to visit our club, the following information is provided:-

West Sussex has a single outstanding 18-hole golf course. Visiting Societies are therefore required to start in the morning from the 1st tee, starting at 09.00 or 09.30 depending on numbers involved.  In the afternoon, societies usually start at the 1st tee from 14.00 or 14.30.   Parties numbering 32 or fewer may play singles or foursomes, but parties of more than 32 must play foursomes in the morning. Singles may then be played in the afternoon if desired.

Visitors playing at West Sussex are required to have a Club handicap and may be asked to produce a handicap certificate. Society organisers are requested to ensure that this requirement can be observed.
