On arrival

Other than for formal dining from 12.00 to 15.00, there is no need to book for casual dining in the club house (or on the terrace), where light breakfast is served from 08.00. The daily lunch menu is available from 12.00 to 15.00 and tea thereafter. We are pleased to announce that our new "Orangery" extension is now open. This provides more space for informal dining and for bar and reception facilities. See LOCAL NEWS for more information.
Opening Hours
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we regret that West Sussex Golf Club is not open to visitors until further notice. The Clubhouse is closed and the course is open for members only. The clubhouse is accessible to members from 07.30 but open for business from 08.00 at which time the pro's shop opens. Guests and received visitors may start play from 09.30 on weekdays and 10.00 on weekends and bank holidays. Clubhouse closing time is generally 18.00 in winter and 21.00 in summer (BST). The secretary's office hours are 09.00 to 17.00 daily.
Car Parking
There is ample car parking space available for general use other than the seven marked bays reserved for officers of the club. On exceptionally busy days overflow parking is available on the grass or the surfaced area to the side of the drive opposite the staff bungalow.
All visitors must sign in at the Pro's shop, located at the far end of the clubhouse. The staff will then direct you to your host or to the facilities you wish to use, and provide you with a door security code. Unaccompanied visitors are requested to retain their green fee receipt during their visit.
Practice is allowed and encouraged as light permits but the range can only be used with practice balls purchased from the Pro's shop. They are dispensed by tokens that operate the ball unit located at the rear of the range shed.
Mobile Phones
The clubhouse and course are tranquil places fully in keeping with our peaceful surrounding countryside. Consequently mobile phones may be used only in the car park; elsewhere they must be switched off although they may be carried onto the course for use in a genuine emergency.
